The Board will focus on strengthening strategic outcomes including:
- Annual Board Work Plan
- Board Recruitment and Onboarding
- Board Member Development
- Business Plan and Budget Process
- Bylaw Review
- Governance Policy
- Risk Assessment
- Oversight and Monitoring Plan
- Schedule of Contracts – Compliance / Obligations / Deliverables / KPM’s
- Succession Planning (Board and Executive Director)
Board Member Commitment:
- Meet 2 hours in the evening, monthly between January – June & September – November
- Join or support at least one committee or task force
- Provide expertise and passion in one or more areas related to governance, human resources, finances, partnerships, etc.
