Objective: In this workshop, we aim to help you understand the benefits of your lived and work experience and skills, review your values, and the importance of age diversity in the workplace.
Finding meaningful work in this employment climate isn’t easy, but there are more opportunities to explore and navigate. We will discuss the characteristics of the five generations present in the workplace and the benefits each generation brings. You will learn the current trends in job search techniques and how to highlight your lived experience when writing a resume and participating in an interview. This practical knowledge will leave you feeling more confident and empowered to display your values, competencies, and skills to find meaningful employment!
