Transferable Skills – WESTSHORE

Objective: Transferable skills are essential to highlight when applying for your next job. This workshop identifies transferable skills when self-researching and reflecting on your values and positive routines, patterns and behaviours.
This workshop will assist you in determining your transferable skills and applying them in a few exercises around accomplishment statements for your resume, answering behavioural interview questions or when you are stepping into a new career and need to highlight the benefits you’ll be bringing to your new employer. Transferable skills are key to know when applying for any job position; by tailoring your resume with your transferable skills, your resume will be positively reviewed and have a better chance of being placed on the interview pile.
