WorkLink Community Partners
WorkLink partners with local organizations, nonprofits, employers, education providers, and health and social service agencies across the Westshore, Sooke, and Port Renfrew regions. These partnerships help us deliver coordinated, inclusive supports that reduce barriers, build skills, and connect people to meaningful employment while strengthening the communities we serve.
START Community Partners
The START Program is built on strong community partnerships. By working alongside local organizations, service providers, and employers, START helps young people build skills, confidence, and real connections to employment.
WHAT COMMUNITY PARTNERS ARE SAYING
The Village Initiative
District of Sooke
“WorkLink is a vital partner for the District of Sooke, playing a key role in economic development beyond employment services. Together, we’ve advanced initiatives like the Juan de Fuca Regenerative Tourism Strategy and the Sooke to Port Renfrew Business Services Cooperative, where both organizations serve on the Board of Directors.
WorkLink was instrumental in engaging the community during the Municipal and Regional District Tax (MRDT) approval process, which will strengthen the local visitor economy and create jobs. They also share costs on development projects and hold a seat on the District’s Community Economic Development Standing Committee.
Without this collaboration, many of our community economic development goals would be far more difficult to achieve.”
