Employment Centre.

WorkLink Employment Society is a growing non-profit organization that has provided government-sponsored employment services to the residents of the Victoria Capital Region’s Westshore (Colwood, Langford, Highlands, View Royal and Metchosin) since 1978. In 2008, services expanded to include the communities of Sooke and surrounding areas including Jordan River and Port Renfrew. WorkLink also provides Indigenous outreach services to the First Nations Communities of Beecher Bay, T’Souke and Pacheedaht. The non-profit organization is funded through both federal and provincial government initiatives. WorkLink is a registered charity in the Province of BC, which is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors chosen from leaders in the community.

Employment Services

WorkLink offers a wide variety of free employment programs and services to residents of the Westshore, Sooke, Jordan River, and Port Renfrew. Our services include the START and SAIL youth employment programs and Digital Duos for seniors looking to increase digital literacy skills.

Charity

WorkLink is a registered charity and nonprofit. We are actively seeking donations to help support our various programs to aid our goal of building a stronger, more economically stable community.

Economic Development

WorkLink is committed to leading the development of initiatives targeted through various ongoing third – party funding sources to implement economic development, including the business support needs of the community. WorkLink is proud to be a member of the Port Renfrew Economic Development Task Force which oversees development, support, and collaborative relationships to promote business (economic development and tourism) including the Port Renfrew Visitor Information Centre.
