Facility Rental Sooke Centre Application

Thank you for your interest in booking our Sooke centre for rental purposes. To request a space, kindly read the information below and complete the online form. If needed, you can also complete the booking process in person. Please ensure to provide the deposit when required. Pricing

  • All bookings are completed on a first come, first served basis.
  • All WorkBC equipment must remain on-site.
  • We do not permit bookings from political or religious groups.
  • Coffee& beverage service is available for a fee (must be requested in advance).
  • Computer workstation users must provide their own headsets during virtual meetings (to ensure confidentiality).
  • Due to high demand, the maximum rental period may not exceed five (5) consecutive days.
  • Facility users must ensure they do not present themselves as being authorized by or acting as an official WorkBC partner.
  • No additional cost for wireless or wifi access; No alcohol may be served onsite; No exterior signage available onsite.
  • 6 feet tables and chairs provided according to the user’s direction at no additional cost.
  • The Facility is ground level and fully accessible, including 3 washrooms, as certified by the Rick Hansen Foundation.
  • The Facility may not be used for commercial or business purposes where a fee for the space is applied to users.
  • Those using devices must provide specific adapters, cables, and a sound system compatible with our Centre’s equipment.
  • Use of kitchen requires a $250 deposit, and may not be used for food production, distribution, or sales.

  • Approval of this event/site usage will be conditional on approval of any other regulatory bodies required (business licensing, food service licensing, etc.), and on the receipt of all supporting documents (site maps, insurance, etc.).
  • Fees will be calculated on approval, based on usage (see facility usage information sheet).
  • Submission of this application constitutes a request to use a portion of the WorkBC Centre Sooke (Centre) facility and is not a guarantee of event confirmation. To enable prompt review, please answer all questions.
